Appliance Incentives

As of fall 2024, rebates are available for heat pump clothes dryers and associated electrical panel and wiring upgrades through NYSERDA’s Appliance Upgrade Program. Learn about the incentive, including participating retailers and installers, on the Appliance Upgrade Program webpage. To apply for this program, use NYSERDA’s MyEnergy Portal.

NYSEG also offers rebates for some appliances, such as natural gas furnaces and boilers, induction cooktops, and more, through their Residential Rebate Program.

Lastly, there are federal tax credits available for certain appliances as part of the Inflation Reduction Act’s Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit. Learn more from this IRS webpage.
